The reseearch area, located in Northwestern Iraq and within the borders of the Nineveh Governorate. The study, which aimed to conduct morphometric analysis of the stream basins between Atshan and Al-Mishraq, primarily examined the physical conditions affecting geomorphology. Eleven notable stream basins were identified in the study area, and morphometric analyses were conducted to describe the geomorphological development of these sub-basins using index formulas used by various researchers. At the end of the research, the characteristics of the landforms were defined, the flood risks of the streams were discussed and evaluated in terms of human activities.
