The role of education and training in integration has encouraged the Union to take concrete steps in the field of education. In this sense, its greatest aim is to place the existing Union and its foundations in the consciousness of individuals on the basis of European citizenship. Aware of the importance of education in raising awareness and shaping societies, the Union has designed various programs for cooperation in education and training in order to provide a climate of cooperation by reducing the differences in the educational systems of the member countries and reducing the negative effects of diversity. The European Union Programs expand the cooperation between the member states and form a network of mutual information exchange.
