The first industrial revolution, which enabled the transition from manual labor to machinery, the second industrial revolution, in which mass production could be achieved by using electricity in production, and the third industrial revolution, in which advanced technologies in both electronics and automation and the use of robots provided significant increases in quality and efficiency, have been completed. Nowadays, the fourth industrial revolution phase has passed, and in this period called Industry 4.0, a new era begins where digital engineering is effective with topics such as simulation, autonomous robots, internet of things, augmented reality big data, cyber security, additive manufacturing, cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
